Antiochians are inspired by Horace Mann's well known plea to graduates in 1859:
"I beseech you to treasure up in your hearts these my parting words: Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity."
Indeed, alumni in all walks of life and pursuits seek to live out these words in a variety of ways. So it is with great excitement that Antioch College has created a program specifically to recognize Antiochians who are winning victories.
2019 Winning Victories Grant Details
Two grants of $20,000 each will be awarded in 2019 to alums from the class of 2000 or later.
Finalists will be invited to present their proposals at Reunion, Saturday morning July 13, 2019. Voting for the winners will take place immediately after the presentations, and the two winning grants will be announced at the Celebration Dinner the same night.

Submission packages must contain all documents(see Instructions/Details document) and must be submitted electronically no later than 8:00 pm March 31 April 7, 2019 to alumni@antiochcollege.edu with “2019 Winning Victories Grants” in the subject line.
2019 Eligibility Criteria
To submit a proposal for a 2019 Winning Victories grant, you must:
- Be an alum of Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio; and
- Graduated or left Antioch in 2000 or later (seniors graduating in 2019 are eligible); and
- Propose an activity or project that you have developed yourself or is your own idea.
terms in good standing and at least one Co-op are also considered alumni. Class of 2019 students must be eligible to graduate in June 2019 as verified by the Registrar's Office. Non-graduate alums must not
have been enrolled within one year of application deadline.

Cash Award for Alumni
The Winning Victories Grant supports initiatives designed by alumni of Antioch College to accelerate the development and deepen the impact of public good and social justice in local, national, and international communities.
The Winning Victories Grant is a cash award. All types of ventures—business, entrepreneurial, non-profit—are welcome. Eligibility criteria will vary from year to year.
