Packing List 2022

For the coming year, Antioch College will be your new home away from home. The rooms in both North and Birch Halls come equipped with the basics: a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and a wardrobe/closet for each resident. Keep in mind that while most students live on their own currently due to COVID precautions, most rooms are set up for double occupancy and therefore have 2 sets of furniture. All College-issued furniture must remain in the room and cannot be stored. Both halls have air-conditioning, wi-fi, and elevator access as well as community kitchen, laundry, and lounge spaces.

Co-op will require you to move frequently during your Antioch career so we recommended that you keep your packing simple.  Everything you bring must fit in your room while you are on campus and fit within a storage box (approx. 3’h x 2’w x 2’d) while you are on co-op.  (Additional space is available for bike storage.  You are welcome to secure additional storage at local storage center at your own expense.)

MUST BRING ITEMS:

  • TWO forms of original identification.  A driver’s license, passport, social security card, birth certificate, state ID are acceptable forms of ID.
  • Proof of health insurance.  The College requires every student to have health insurance.  If you are not covered by the time you arrive, you will be required to carry student health insurance.

Proof of COVID vaccination & negative test taken in 24 hours prior to arrival to campus.  You can also submit this in advance to nurse@antiochcollege.edu
