Antiochians.

We all remember Horace Mann’s plea to graduates in 1859:  “Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity.”

In the spirit of Mann’s challenge, we invite you to submit a proposal to the Antioch College Winning Victories Grant.  The Grant is a cash award.  It supports initiatives designed by College alumni to accelerate the development and deepen the impact of public good and social justice in local, national, and international communities.  All types of ventures are welcome.

All alums of Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio who graduated or left Antioch in 2000 or later are invited to participate.

Two grants of $15,000 each and three mini-grants of $1,000 each will be awarded.  Proposals are due July 15, 2021.  Each proposal will be blind-reviewed by two reviewers, and five finalists with the highest scores will be selected.

Finalists will submit pre-recorded videos of their proposals to be presented in October 2021 (exact date TBA).

Winners will be selected by members of the Antioch College community—alumni, students, faculty, and staff.  Voting will be conducted online.  The winning grants will be announced later in October.

Recipients are expected to use their awards to pursue the objectives of their proposal.  Recipients of the $15,000 grants are also expected to provide a brief report one year later (2022) describing how the grant was used and progress towards reaching their goals.

We look forward to receiving your Grant proposal and to *seeing* you virtually at Reunion 2021!
