You must be a registered Antioch College student to be eligible for this position.

Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
Student will research and learn all processes related to cross-registration including but not limited to:
registration at Antioch,
registration at hosts institutions,
familiarity with forms, petitions, etc.,
fluency with searching for courses and school calendars,
calculating credits.
Student will lead efforts to support advisors and students on campus in the cross-registration process.
Student will assist students in researching courses in areas of interest, compile lists for areas of high interest/need, promotional materials for Antioch courses to share with other institutions to highlight our courses, etc.
Build resources in shared Drive.
Create and facilitate information/training sessions for interested students and/or faculty advisors.
Work with communications team to build resources for SOCHE process on the Antioch website.

Qualifications:
Initiative in researching websites,
Cold calling/emailing Registrar offices to gather information,
Spreadsheet organization,
Professional email writing abilities,
Adhering to appointments as scheduled,
Taking notes,
Follow up with necessary parties as needed to move the process forward for folks,
Comfortability with creating and implementing workshops or training for staff, faculty, and/or students as needed.
Ideally, this candidate would be interested in fulfilling this role for consecutive academic terms.
This position will require you to complete FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) training.

Required Physical Abilities:
Able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Able to focus on computer tasks for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Movement within and across a historic residential campus

Environmental Considerations:
Position works extensively in an office environment; seated or standing and utilizing standard office equipment such as networked computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines
Indoor office environment; heated and cooled institutionally
Occasional requirement to move around campus, indoors and outdoors, over paved and rough terrain experiencing local temperature and weather variations
