DESCRIPTION:Antioch College welcomes the Cincinnati Permaculture Institute (CPI) to lead and award the CPI’s internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certification (PDC) training to be held over three weekends from July 12 to July 28 \nPermaculture is Ecological Design: a system of ethics\, principles\, tools and skills that integrates the patterns and systems of nature as guides for creating resilient and holistic landscapes\, homes\, communities\, and habitats. \nThis accelerated training is structured as follows: \n\nDates: Full 72 hour training – July 12 – 14\, 19 – 21\, 26-28\, 2024\nFridays: 4 hr online lecture/discussion sessions (4:00PM – 8:00PM)\nSaturdays & Sundays: 8 hr on site lecture/discussions/interactivity on farm work/learn (9:00AM – 5:00PM)\nPlus 12 hours of supplemental reading and videos.

SUMMARY:GravityWorks Circus' "She Grows Wings" at the Foundry Theater
DESCRIPTION:“She Grows Wings” is an original aerial theater show created by GravityWorks Circus showcasing their first ensemble. \n“She Grows Wings” is a story about a young daydreamer who escapes the reality of her parents’ constant fighting through her imagination. Through her dreams we find her floating in space\, playing with forest creatures\, and venturing a little too far when she meets the mermaids who whisk her deeper into a fairytale land. How long is our young daydreamer able to avoid reality? Will she be able to reunite with her family or will she get lost in her imagination? “She Grows Wings” is a powerful story about finding courage in yourself to face your fears and the power of love that leads us back home.
