SUMMARY:Thrive Together: A Health and Wellness Fair
DESCRIPTION:Join us for “Thrive Together: A Health and Wellness Fair” on Thursday\, October 22\, 2026 at Antioch College’s Wellness Center (240 East South College Street) from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. \nTHRIVE TOGETHER A HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR \nDuring the fair\, Greene County Public Health will provide free STI testing through their mobile STI Testing Unit. They will also have free Narcan\, condoms\, as well as other resources and information related to health and well-being while supplies last. \nThe Yellow Springs Pharmacy will facilitate a Flu Shot Clinic during the fair. Flu shots offered are free with most insurance plans\, but they will cost $35 for those without insurance or who want to pay out-of-pocket. \nCentral State University Extension will provide free health screenings as well as have information about nutrition and healthily eating. \nAdditional confirmed organizations offering resources\, services\, and information to attendees include: \n\nGreene County Department of Job and Family Services\nEquitas Health\nYellow Springs Home Inc.\nDignity Exchange (free menstrual hygiene products)\nYellow Springs Community Food Pantry\nBuckeye Health Plan\nCareSource Health Plan\nGreene County Educational Service Center\nViolence Free Futures\nAntioch College Farm and Apothecary Garden\nNational Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)\nAdvocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE)\nPractice with Purpose LLC (Estate Planning\, Wills\, and Probate Law)\nTesseract Books\nNekesa’s Teas and Mbele Leadership Foundation\nUS Bank\nFirst Presbyterian Church of Yellow Springs\n\nPlease check the Coretta Scott King Center’s website for updates about participating vendors: https://antiochcollege.edu/coretta-scott-king-center/ \nFree workshops include: \n\n4:30 PM – Yoga with Larisa\n6:00 PM – Self Defense Class with Swan Rama and Amber\n\nAll classes at the Wellness Center on Thursday\, October 22nd will be free. \nThis event is being organized by the Coretta Scott King Center for Cultural and Intellectual Freedom\, Wellness Center\, Cooperative Education Department\, and Community Life Team at Antioch College in partnership with Greene County Public Health. \nThis event is free and open to the public!
