DESCRIPTION:Yellow Springs Kwanzaa 2025: A Celebration of African & African American Culture For EVERYONE! \nSaturday\, December 27th 6pmThe Foundry Theater at Antioch College\, 920 Corry St.\, Yellow Springs \nThe Kwanzaa program will include readings of the seven Kwanzaa principles (the Nguzo Saba) by young people\, presentation of the Nguzo Saba award to a Yellow Springs resident\, performances by local artists\, followed by a potluck meal. \nKwanzaa was developed by activist/educator Dr. Maulana Karenga in the 1960s to introduce and reinforce seven basic values of African culture which contribute to building and reinforcing family\, community\, and culture among African American people as well as Africans throughout the world African community.
