DESCRIPTION:Event Description: \nOn Sunday\, October 26\, 2025\, at 1:00 PM in the Herndon Gallery at Antioch College (1 Morgan Place\, Yellow Springs\, Ohio)\, Keith LaMar and Albert Marquès will present a Freedom First Jazz Concert. LaMar is a Cleveland-born\, death row prisoner\, poet\, writer\, and activist who has spent more than 30 years in solitary confinement for a crime he maintains he did not commit. Albert Marquès is a Brooklyn-based\, Catalan pianist and composer. \nThe concert is a testament to art\, resistance\, and the fight for liberation. \nFrom a cell on Ohio’s death row\, Keith LaMar will perform live by phone.
