DESCRIPTION:Antioch College will host “Defying Jim & Jane Crow: The Power & Impact of Pauli Murray\,” a free public symposium on Saturday\, November 1\, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The symposium will bring together scholars\, activists\, and community members to explore Murray’s enduring influence on civil rights\, women’s rights\, and law. \nSymposium Schedule: \n\n11:00 AM – Screening of “My Name is Pauly Murray\,” Arts & Sciences Building.\n1:00 PM – Lunch in the Herndon Gallery\n2:30 PM – Panel discussion in the Herndon Gallery\n\nAnjalique Knight\, Director of Education and Outreach at the Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice in Durham\, NC;\nSerena Mayeri\, Arlin M.
