You must be a registered Antioch College student to be eligible for this position.

This position is a great opportunity for students who want to go into digital marketing, advertising, social media, public relations, or related fields. This position will allow student to develop valuable skills and build a social media portfolio, while branding Antioch College to the greater community and promoting programs and events to students.

Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
Help create content and share “snapshots of student life” for the Antioch Social Media outlets (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to better connect with prospective and incoming students.
Interested students should have a good eye for making aesthetically-interesting images and the ability to create engaging and authentic accompanying text.
Create quirky, beautiful, well-intentioned pictures and stories that capture the interesting events and daily happenings that take place on the Antioch Campus.
Applicants should feel comfortable taking photos, editing photos, writing short descriptions, working on their own and with many people across campus to cover campus life and events.
Assist the Communications team in Advancement with various aspects of the Antioch College Presence on social media.
Everyone in Advancement helps each other. You may be assigned to help other teams on projects as needed.

Excellent writing skills, including the ability to target messaging to different audiences (e.g. students, alumni, prospective student) in a clear, concise way.
Knowledge of social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
Ability to participate in Zoom and Google Meet type video calls, Experience using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.,

Required Physical Abilities:
Able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Able to focus on computer tasks for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Movement within and across a historic residential campus
