Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
The role of Community Pulse Worker is a care work position.
Pulse workers will have their eyes and ears with the Antioch Community.
Pulse workers will dedicate their time to listening and making space for grievances, frustrations, and joys. Pulse workers are in an active process of communication with the CG team to help identify and attend to areas or individuals where there may be a dearth of support.

Qualifications:
Basic therapeutic skills; active listening, empathy, boundary setting. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong capacity for emotional labor. Resilient. Passion for seeing and hearing others.
This position will require you to complete FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) training.

Required Physical Abilities:
Movement within and across a historic residential campus

Environmental Considerations:
Requirement to move around campus, indoors and outdoors, over paved and rough terrain experiencing local temperature and weather variations
