You must be a registered Antioch College student to be eligible for this position.

This position will initiate the process for the creative preservation of the Ant Farm building.

Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
This project will take several years, but we are looking for a student to lead the initiative for the creative preservation of the Ant Farm building.
Reaching out to various agencies about the historic status of the building
Producing assets such as presentations
Documenting current building
Triage of the building
Collecting previous documentation of the building
Reaching out to Antioch people and people outside of Antioch—historic society to gain support
Reaching out to various grant-making agencies and researching grants for creative restoration and exhibitions
Finding an architect or structural engineer to come and make an assessment of the cost of repairs
Creation of budget

Willingness to learn new skills, ability to collaborate within specific job requirements, an awareness of safety requirements in the building.

Physical Requirement and Environmental Considerations:
Must be willing to get dirty in the execution of some aspects of the job.
Ability to stand or walk frequently
Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Climb up onto and down from equipment or ladders
Able to manipulate small hand tools
