Position Summary:

Student worker, researcher, Ant Farm Art Building Creative Preservation Initiative

Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
Assist the AFAAB group to preserve and reimagine AFAAB (aka the “Old Art Building”) by doing archival research, producing creative photo documentation, graphic, web, and 3D design, planning new events related to the project, and promoting those events.

In the past our ACW collaborators have: curated virtual reality and IRL exhibitions, designed interactive timelines, done archival research, created graphic branding, conducted interviews, created a documentary film, assisted with grant writing, and developed academic conference presentations. There’s lots more to do!

A wide variety of media and research skills — this job can be tailored to your skills and interests. Skills could include: photography, graphic design, archival research, oral history/interviewing, grant writing, videography and video editing, 3d modeling, writing, social media posting and engagement, web design, project management, curating, choreography, event planning…
