You must be a registered Antioch College student to be eligible for this position.

The Grants Assistant supports the College’s grant program. Primary responsibilities include research of grant prospects, grant writing, reporting, and developing concepts in conjunction with Antioch faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

Student should be willing and excited to research grant funding opportunities for Antioch College. They will help make recommendations about how or when to approach prospective grant-makers based on information from research. Typical duties include research, writing, proofreading, filing, typing, maintaining records, scheduling appointments, and assisting with mail.

Qualifications

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention-to-detail
  • Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner

Physical Abilities

Student should be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and be able to focus on computer tasks for prolonged periods of time.

Environmental Considerations:
Position works extensively in an office environment; seated or standing and utilizing standard office equipment such as networked computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines
