You must be a registered Antioch College student to be eligible for this position.
The Project Assistant will catalogue books that have been donated to the History program, consider options for creating a system to make these books available to students on a lending basis, and work with History faculty on other initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
The Project Assistant will catalogue books that have been donated to the History program, using the Zotero reference organization system; the Assistant will work with the History faculty to consider options for creating a system to make these books available to students on a lending basis, and work with History faculty on other initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
An interest in History;
Good organizational skills;
Independent working style;
Familiarity with Zotero reference management software preferred; training in it will be provided if needed.
Required Physical Abilities:
Ability to retrieve books from bookshelves, to read the book titles, and to enter information on a computer into a reference management system.
Ability to work in History faculty offices or in 3rd floor South Hall community room
Environmental Considerations:
Student will work in History faculty offices or in 3rd floor South Hall community room.
