Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
The Institutional Research Assistant will provide administrative and project-based support related to collecting, analyzing, and reporting institutional data with an emphasis on data required for the College’s October accreditation visit. The Institutional Research Assistant will also provide support for institutional reporting.
Reviewing institutional data, identifying key data points, and compiling associated reports
Completing data tables and other requests for information
Assisting with organizing and cataloging evidence for Accreditation Assurance Argument
Compiling Excel Spreadsheets with relevant institutional information
Converting evidence required for Assurance Argument into PDF and attaching cover sheet
Communicating information to campus constituents as needed to collect institutional data and compile accreditation reports
Specific projects may include, but are not limited to, database entry, compiling survey reports, preparing documents to support accreditation filing, interaction with students and staff, data cleanup, research projects, and special projects as assigned.
This position will require you to complete FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) training.

Be prompt and dependable. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Acrobat Willingness to learn about institutional research best practices

Required Physical Abilities:
Able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Able to focus on computer tasks for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Movement within and across a historic residential campus

Environmental Considerations:
Position works extensively in an office environment; seated or standing and utilizing standard office equipment such as networked computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines
Indoor office environment; heated and cooled institutionally
Occasional requirement to move around campus, indoors and outdoors, over paved and rough terrain experiencing local temperature and weather variations
