You must be a registered Antioch College student to be eligible for this position.

This position will offer direct mathematics support in and outside of the classroom.

Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
The TA will work in the class to support MATH090 students as well as hold additional recitation sessions and/or individual support sessions for the course. To complete the 10 hours per week and continue in terms that MATH 090 is not taught, they will provide student support in the Quantitative Center. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Strong mathematical abilities and proven Academic Success is essential.
Clear communication, use of technology to send emails, schedule meetings, creating training tools as needed.
Should be comfortable speaking in a group of students, maintain positive and supportive relationships with students on campus.
Maintain and execute group work sessions and individual tutoring sessions.
This position will require you to complete FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) training.

Required Physical Abilities:
Movement within and across a historic residential campus

Environmental Considerations:
Position works extensively in an office and classroom environment; seated or standing and utilizing standard office equipment such as networked computers and copiers
Indoor office environment; heated and cooled institutionally
Occasional requirement to move around the campus, indoors and outdoors, over paved and rough terrain experiencing local temperature and weather variations
