James Murdock has more than four decades of higher education administration experience primarily focused on budget planning and financial management, capital budget planning, facility planning and operations and construction management, business operations, change management, human resource administration, internal controls, and administrative information systems and technology. He’s held interim appointments as vice president of finance and administration Marygrove College and vice chancellor for administration and finance at Indiana University South Bend. He spent two decades at the University of Michigan, where he held numerous positions, including assistant dean for finance and planning in the Ross School of Business. Jim has a BA in economics and business administration from Muskingum College and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Graduate School.
