I’m one of the Student Success Services Coordinators at Antioch College, as a part of the Student Affairs team. I started working at Antioch College in 2018 after having worked as a special education middle and high school teacher for 11 years. I love getting to know students individually and working with them through their time here to develop personal and academic skills. At Antioch, we support students in ways that are tailored to their specific, individual needs and meet each person where they are. I manage our peer tutoring program, group accountability and study sessions, training sessions for students and faculty, and help with navigating the academic experience. I work with students on all sorts of things, big and small – there’s no greater joy for me than seeing our students thrive and grow during their time here!
I grew up in Pennsylvania and have since lived and worked in Hawaii, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia before coming to Ohio. I love fostering senior cats, gardening, and hiking/walking outside. I’m developing my baking and cooking skills and love trying new recipes (thanks, pandemic). You can often find me with a homemade bag of peanut butter cookies, looking to share with folks coming through the Writing Institute. I love a cold brew, going for road trips, doing puzzles, and listening to true crime podcasts.
