Hello! My name is Alyssa Yoxtheimer and I am going to be the Assistant Director of Student Success and Academic Resources. I have worked in Student Affairs professionally for the past 5 years at many different institutions. I received my bachelor’s degree from Bluffton University in 2017 and my Master’s degree from Grand Valley State University in 2019. I mostly have worked in Residential Life positions, but have focused on student success and well-being on my career journey. I previously worked at Bowling Green State University as a Resident Hall Director for 3 years, and am coming from Ohio Wesleyan University where I served as the Assistant Director of Residential Life. My goal is to help students feel a sense of belonging and find their “why”.

Outside of work I enjoy the outdoors, music, and video games. I have two cats who are the center of my life (Kai and Lottie), who I will talk about with you at any chance! I have a truly amazing support system with my partner Dylan. We love going camping and on motorcycle rides when we have the time. I enjoy going to concerts and music festivals of all varieties.
