Self-Designed Major: Interdisciplinary Focuses
At Antioch, all students create a self-designed major to pursue intellectual, social, and career interests while meeting all graduation requirements.
Antiochians are known for independence of mind and pursuing topics that cross boundaries. They adopt multi-disciplinary approaches to real-world problems, from global climate change and racial justice to income inequality and prison reform. This equips them to understand complexity and apply their skills of critical thinking, writing, and cross-cultural engagement as industries evolve and the world changes. We are proud that graduates are prepared for questions that haven’t yet been asked and careers that haven’t yet been invented.
