Bootcamp for Activism

November: Date to be announced

Community Renewal & Re-Imagining America

$40 (includes lunch).

Across our nation communities are struggling to recover from economic social upheaval. Could we be in the beginning of a bottom up social and economic renewal? Workshop participants will view the PBS documentary America Left Behind before gathering for a day with leaders of community redevelopment projects in Troy, Mansfield and Wilmington, Ohio. We will hear of local successes and lessons learned. Staff of the Dayton Collaboratory will lead an exercise in re-imaging America. This is the first in a series of workshops on community renewal.

Housing

On campus housing is available; $80 per night dorm-style accommodations.
