Antioch College will be partnering in support of Agraria’s Black Farming Conference to be held September 10-11, 2021.
After reading “In The Matters of Color: Race and the American Legal Process” by A. Leon Higginbotham ‘49, a group of Purdue alumni started a petition on Change.org to rename Elliot Hall – named for former president Edward C. Elliot who opposed improving the living conditions of Black student housing at Purdue University.
Stories Happen in Forests is an internationally recognized and award-winning short documentary produced and directed by Amanda Rodriguez ‘04 in association with Videographer Andrea Desky of Call to Action Creative. Stories is Amanda’s first film, and due to the pandemic, premiered online in 2020. It will have its first in-person premiere on September 26th, 2021 at Dogwood Alliance’s 25th Anniversary event in Asheville, NC.
