Antioch College and Clark State Community College have partnered to create a streamlined and clear transfer pathway for students aiming to complete their bachelor’s degree at Antioch College. This agreement values your prior learning experiences and offers the flexibility of Antioch’s unique self-designed major.

 

Why Choose Antioch College?

Transfer Up to 60 Credits:

Antioch College accepts up to 60 semester credits from Clark State, equivalent to up to 90 quarter credits.

Courses with a passing grade of C- or higher are accepted.

Transfer courses are recognized using general transfer container courses, preserving your original course titles.

Flexible Self-Designed Majors:

Antioch offers a single, self-designed major with BA or BS options.

Collaborate with faculty advisors to craft an individual degree plan that includes all your coursework.

Choose from interdisciplinary pathways such as:

  • Culture, Power, and Change
  • Interdisciplinary Arts and Creative Practice
  • Global Studies and Engagement
  • Social Enterprise and Social Innovation
  • Sustainability and the Environment

 

General Education Requirements Fulfilled:

If you have an AA or AS degree (non-technical), you’ve satisfied all general education requirements at Antioch, except for:

  • Senior Reflection Paper (ANTC 494, 2 credits): Integrate your prior learning.
  • Final Co-operative Field Experience (COOP 390, 12 credits): Enhance workplace readiness.
  • Competency-based Language Requirement: Achieve high-novice proficiency on the OPI or pass a 200-level language course at Antioch.

 

Credit for Workplace Experience:

Earn up to 12 additional quarter credits (8 semester credits) for recent workplace experience.

Enroll in COOP 125T to reflect on and transfer your work experience as an additional 12-credit co-op.

 

Financial Aid Opportunities:

Transfer students receive the same financial aid packages as other degree-seeking students.
