Global Studies and Engagement
Are you ready to be a part of shaping our global future?
The Global Studies and Engagement focus is premised on the recognition that we inhabit an interconnected world where the pressing issues of our times, whether climate change, pandemics, economic transformations, or social, political, and cultural movements increasingly take place across national boundaries, at a global scale and space. It equips students with an understanding of global and transnational activities and processes across time and space while developing the intellectual and practical skills necessary for a reflexive cross-cultural engagement abroad. This focus gives students a pathway for knowledge acquisition, skill development, experiential application, and cultural immersion in international contexts. It provides strong preparation for those interested in postgraduate studies or exploring careers in government, nonprofit organizations, education, globally oriented-businesses, and other fields.
