Position Summary:
The Antioch College Office of Advancement is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our Advancement Team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, and communications while supporting the College’s Annual Fund campaigns. The Student Assistant will work closely with the Director of Annual Giving and other team members to help achieve fundraising goals and enhance donor engagement.
Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
- Donor Stewardship Calls: Conduct phone calls to thank donors for their contributions and update them on the impact of their gifts.
- Targeted Fundraising Calling Campaigns: Participate in specific calling campaigns aimed at increasing donor participation and raising funds for the College.
- Compile Stewardship Packets for Scholarship Donors: Assemble and distribute personalized stewardship packets to scholarship donors, highlighting the achievements and gratitude of scholarship recipients.
- Lead Student Thank You Letter Writing Campaigns: Organize and oversee campaigns where students write thank you letters to donors, ensuring timely and heartfelt
- Generate Social Media Content:Create engaging images and videos to be featured on the College’s social media accounts, supporting active Annual Fund campaigns.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop content that resonates with alumni, donors, and the Antioch community
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a student at Antioch
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and
- Ability to work independently and as part of a
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to
- Experience with social media platforms and content
- A positive attitude and a passion for supporting the mission and values of Antioch College
Physical Abilities:
- Must be able to complete hours during standard office hours (8:30am – 5pm). Flexibility is possiblywithin those parameters.
- Physical ability to perform daily office activities, to include sitting long periods at a desk, light duty lifting, written and oral correspondence.
Environmental Considerations:
Work will generally occur within a standard office environment on the 4th floor of South hall.
