You must be a registered Antioch College student to be eligible for this position.
This position will provide administrative and project-based support to the Antioch College Office of Alumni Relations.
Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
The Events Coordinator assists the Director of Alumni Relations with various aspects of planning for alumni related events including:
Creating events on the Alumni Directory Platform Almabase.
* Draft descriptions of events
* Create registration forms
* Manage Event Registrations
* Support users trying to register for events
Manage email & social media correspondence
* Promote events on social media and via email
* Draft email blasts.
Provide support during virtual and in person events
* Serve as a co-host for Virtual events to assist participants & the host.
* Serve as support for onsite events.
Everyone in Advancement helps each other. You may be assigned to help other teams on projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Ability to participate in Zoom and Google Meet type video calls, Experience using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.,
Required Physical Abilities:
Able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Able to focus on computer tasks for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Movement within and across a historic residential campus
Environmental Considerations:
None
Number of Positions Available (per term): Two
Work Schedule:
Flexible up to 10 hrs per week.
