Summary of Position:
The purpose of this position is to assist the Assistant Director of Strategic Initiatives and Title IX Coordinator with policy research, analysis, revision, and implementation. The Assistant Policy Analyst will research external model policies that may be implemented at Antioch College related to policy areas that the Title IX Coordinator oversees. Policy areas include Title IX, policies related to sexual harassment, discrimination, and misconduct, and general student misconduct. Additional responsibilities may fall under the areas of policy education, awareness, strategizing, and implementation of policy for the larger campus community at the discretion of the Title IX Coordinator and Assistant Policy Analyst. .

Responsibilities:
● Analyze data related to policy implementation
Assist the Title IX Coordinator in the development of strategic plans related to violence prevention
Assist the Title IX Coordinator in educating the community about policies
Assist the Title IX Coordinator in improving compliance with Title IX federal regulation
Assist the Title IX Coordinator in the organization of community input on policy updates
Assist the Title IX Coordinator in updating policies in accordance with best practices
● Research model policies that may be implemented at Antioch College .

Qualifications:
● Experience with basic software including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Google Drive, Google Documents, and Google Sheets
● Experience editing and analyzing policies
● Experience participating in an Antioch governing body (ComCil, College Council, etc.)
● Experience conducting policy research
Experience working in an office environment

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Required Physical Abilities:
May occasionally need to lift up to 40lbs
Must be able to give verbal direction in English as well as read and write English

Standard office environment- Position works extensively in an office environment; seated or standing and utilizing standard office equipment such as networked computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines..
