Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
The ComCil Chair will provide support to ComCil from 2023-2024 in administration and oversight. As all members of ComCil, the Chair is expected to be present at all meetings and events, be familiar with ComCil by-laws, and take on a leadership role within ComCil. Additional responsibilities of the position are described below.

Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
A. Will be expected to work from anywhere from five to ten hours per week.
B. It shall be the duty of the Chair(s) to form agendas convene, and preside at all meetings of the Community Council.
C. Recognize and identify where problems may occur and properly deal with them.
D. Is a permanent non-voting ex-officio member of the College Council. In the Community Council Chair(s)’s absence, a designee
from the membership will be selected to attend the College Council Meetings.
E. Be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the various goals, ongoing and temporary, undertaken by the Community Council.
F. Shall call special meetings of Community Council on their initiative or at the request of any member.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with basic software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Google Suite
● Experience working in an office environment
● Experience or interest in administration and oversight
● Experience participating in a government body
● Organized

Required Physical Abilities:
Able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Able to focus on computer tasks for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Movement within and across a historic residential campus

Environmental Considerations:
Requirement to move around campus, indoors and outdoors, over paved and rough terrain experiencing local temperature and weather variations
