Malek Stewart


Assistant Director of Student Life and Inclusion, Belonging, and Justice

Malek Stewart has worked within the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice field for a majority of his 10 years in Higher Education.While starting his career at the University of Saint Francis and earning two Master’s degrees, the passion for restorative justice grew, drawing him into this career path. Malek brings to Antioch a working knowledge as he recently was employed at Muskingum University as the Associate Director of Cultural Engagement & Inclusion. Malek has had the privilege of training students and faculty at a number of different campuses assisting growth and progress of DEI initiatives across the US. Malek believes that every student that graduates from college should be as he would say culturally aware to navigate the intercultural world we live in today. Aside from his professional endeavors, Malek spends time with DIY projects for his home, or with his family and their projects.
