Hello! My name is Nathan Ortlieb, and I am the Assistant Director of Student Success and Academic Resources. I believe in taking a student-centered approach to my work at Antioch, and I want all the students to know that I am someone they can come and talk to if they need any support in or out of the classroom. In the past, I worked as a Social/Emotional Learning Coordinator at a small school district in southern Ohio. In my previous role, I had the opportunity to help bridge the gap between academics and social/emotional health. In my current role, I will be able to help you find any resources that you may need to help get you to where you want to be in life. As we all know, life can be difficult to navigate at times, so please feel free to send me an email, call, or just stop by my office in the Olive Kettering Library if you need someone to talk to.

In my personal life, I love spending my free time in nature with my partner while bird watching. If you want to know random facts about birds that you may never need to utilize in your life, come and see me! Additionally, I love spending time with our dog, Val, and making her feel like the queen that she thinks she is. As much as I love nature, I am also fond of sitting on the couch with the AC on watching movies and TV shows. Recently, I have taken up baking and have become pretty good at it if I may say so!
