Dorothea Marie Willand, age 76, of Goodyear, AZ, passed away on April 27th, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ. Visitation was May 5th, 2020 at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 9925 W. Thomas Rd. Avondale, AZ. Funeral services were May 5th, 2020, at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral home. Burial followed at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
Dorothea was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Virginia and Laurie Niemi on August 19th, 1943. She went to school at Mount Baker High School. She married Ordean Willard on December 17th, 1964 in Bellingham, WA.
She graduated from Antioch and she worked as a Psychotherapist for Desert Sky Consoling for 40 years plus. Dorothea is preceded in death by Ordean Willand. Dorothea is survived by Ric and Paula Willand and family, Kenneth and Kris Willand and family, and Michael and Anita Willand and family.
The family of Dorothea wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Debra Ulloa and her children, Domingo, Alicia and Alicia’s daughter who Dorothea thought of and treated them like family.
