Expanding on the new Antioch College Works program, the Office of the Senior Vice Presidents has announced the Summer Jobs Program, an opportunity for students to engage in work experiences while living on campus from June 27 and ending August 28. On-campus housing and meal plans will be available to students who are working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Overseen by the Cooperative Education department (Co-op), both on campus and in the Yellow Springs community will be offered. On-campus jobs will pay $10 per hour and opportunities will be posted on the student employment webpage. Students may also work off-campus if they choose to do so in consultation with their Co-op faculty advisor.
2021 will serve as a pilot program for the Summer Jobs Program.
At Antioch College, work experience has been inextricably interwoven with our liberal arts-based curriculum for 100 years through our Co-op program. The Summer Jobs Program continues to build on the College’s distinctive educational model where students gain the confidence, knowledge, and know-how to adapt to any situation.
