Kenneth L. Webb ’53

Kenneth L. Webb, 91, died on May 25, 2022 in Richmond, VA.  His death was the result of injuries sustained in an accident.

 

Ken graduated from Antioch in 1953 and received his Ph.D. from Ohio State University in 1959.  He pursued a career in oceanography at the University of Georgia (1960-1965) and, subsequently, at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, now a part of the College of William and Mary.  He retired from William and Mary as Chancellor Professor in 1998.

 

He is survived by his wife, Susan R. Stevick.
