Antioch College Celebrates the Graduating Class of 2026
In June 23 graduates crossed the Commencement stage earning either a bachelor science or a bachelor of arts degree.
Commencement celebrated all that our graduates have accomplished and where they will head next as they enter meaningful careers and live purposful lives the way Antiochians always do.
Heather Cain, Lark Orbe, and Colin Ross respresented the graduating class as student speakers.
Dr. Ruha Benjamin, a globally recognized scholar and cultural critic served as the keynote speaker. Dr. Benjamin, the Alexander Stewart 1886 Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University, is internationally recognized for her groundbreaking work on the relationship between innovation, inequity, and justice. She is the author of influential books including Race After Technology and Viral Justice, and a leading voice on the ethical dimensions of emerging technologies.
“Dr. Ruha Benjamin’s work challenges us to think more deeply about the futures we are building. I am thrilled she was a part of our Commencement celebration as we honored the graduates who are finishing their time at Antioch College and will begin thinking about how they will help shape the world,” said Dr. Jane Fernandes, President of Antioch College.
Antioch College proudly maintains a 94% career outcomes rate, meaning the majority of graduates are employed in meaingful work or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduating.
Graduates of the Class of 2026 will go on to engage in work around sustainability, meaingful community engagement, and business administration graduate programs.
