These awards provide an opportunity to celebrate our shared values and what makes Antioch unique and great by lifting up student members of our community who exemplify excellence in the Classroom, Co-op, and Community.

2025 Award Recipients & Chairs

Horace Mann Award for Excellence in Scholarly and Creative Inquiry: Awarded to one student who exemplifies particular achievement, potential, ambition, originality, or imagination in their scholarly or artistic work. This student demonstrates to our community what it means to own your education.

Horace Mann Award for Excellence Meaningful Work: Awarded to one student who exemplifies commitment to quality work, dependability, growth, and pride in a job well done. This student demonstrates to our community what it means to learn by experience.

Horace Mann Award for Excellence in Community Citizenship: Awarded to one student who exemplifies the ongoing democratic experiment to build a diverse campus community based in service, action, inclusion, and care. This student demonstrates to our community what it means to act for justice.

SOCHE Excellence Awards

Each year the campus community nominates colleagues in three categories: The Staff Excellence Award, the Faculty Excellence Award, and the Campus Impact Award. Nominations paint a picture of an engaged campus with so many members looking for ways to positively contribute to our beloved community.
