Celebrating Our 2026 Reunion Feast!

This summer many beloved Antioch College Alumni returned to campus in Yellow Springs, Ohio, for the 2026 Reunion FEAST.

Throughout the weekend our campus came to life as classmates reconnected, alumni met with current students, and our faculty and staff engaged with alumni. Each moment a special piece of what made the entire weekend the unforgettable experience that it was.

FUND A NEED SUCCESS

We want to extend a special thanks to those who donated during the Fund a Need Dinner helping us raise $100,000 to support several high-impact campus projects, including faculty professional development, climate control improvements for North and Birch, a welcoming new entrance to the Foundry, landscaping equipment, and continued restoration of the Main Building and Kelly Hall.

We are continually inspired by the way our alumni show up for the college that shaped them, strengthening our community and ensuring that future generations of Antiochians can learn, grow, and thrive here.

Thank you for making this year’s Reunion not only a celebration of our shared history, but a meaningful investment in Antioch’s future.

REUNION PANEL RECORDINGS

Reunion Feedback Summary

Based on the Reunion feedback responses, attendees overwhelmingly valued the opportunity to reconnect with one another and expressed appreciation for the thoughtful programming, dedicated staff, and quality of many of the weekend experiences. Feedback also identified several opportunities to improve logistics, communication, and the overall guest experience for future reunions.

Alumni consistently cited reconnecting with classmates and friends across generations as the most meaningful part of Reunion. Popular programming included:

• Food and Food Justice panels, particularly the John Ronsheim tribute
• Foundry Theater performances
• Alumni Work Project
• Wine tasting
• Faculty presentations and opportunities to learn about current academic work
• Informal conversations with fellow alumni and staff

Programing: 

Overall, respondents felt the schedule offered a good balance of activities and praised the quality of the educational programming.

Suggestions for improvement included:

• Reduce overlapping events to allow alumni to attend more sessions.
• Create additional opportunities for interaction among students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the broader Yellow Springs community.
• Expand Foundry Theater programming.
• Feature more faculty introductions and presentations.
• Incorporate more alumni talent into Reunion programming.
• Consider discontinuing the bonfire due to low attendance and accessibility concerns.

Food:

Feedback on Antioch Kitchens was generally positive, with many attendees complimenting the quality and flavor of the meals, particularly the vegetables from the Antioch Farm and meals served in Birch Dining Hall.

Suggestions for improvement included:

• Improve service staffing at dinner events.
• Better accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets.
• Ensure advertised menu items are available.
• Elevate the Thursday Welcome Dinner and Celebration Dinner with desserts, coffee/tea, beverages, and a more celebratory atmosphere.
• Avoid fundraising presentations before guests have finished their meals.

Comms & Logistics:

Several respondents noted opportunities to improve pre-event communication by providing clearer expectations before attendees arrive. Suggested additions included:

• Wellness Center and pool availability
• Dormitory amenities (linens provided, toiletries not provided)
• What to bring for overnight accommodations
• Extended bookstore hours, especially on Sunday
• A more visible staff presence on Sunday to provide a warm farewell as guests depart.

Community & Engagement:

Respondents expressed interest in:

• More structured opportunities to meet alumni across generations.
• Better ways to exchange contact information and stay connected after Reunion.
• More regional alumni engagement opportunities throughout the year.
• Greater visibility from campus leadership during Reunion.
