Judith Wilson Kandler ’56 passed away November 22, 2019, after a 10-year struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was 86 years old.
Judy was a wonderful artist, making beautiful pottery and watercolor paintings. She was a beloved teacher. She belonged to the Marmaroneck Artist Guild where she was president for two years. For over 30 years, she sang with the Westchester Chorale.
She enjoyed skiing in Zermatt, Switzerland, sailing in the British Virgin Islands, playing tennis with friends, and biking — especially two bike trips in France. And she was a great cook.
Judy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Henry “Hank” Kandler ’53; three children, Jennifer, Michael and Sara; and seven grandchildren, Elena, Ben, Max, Nikki, Zeki, Kenza and Sofyan.
