Summer Arts Institute: Myths Magic and Folklore thru Clay and the Creative Spirit
Antioch College invites you to a week-long creative workshop exploring Myths, Magic, and Folklore through Clay and the Creative Spirit. This immersive experience is designed for adults interested in bringing stories to life through handcrafted mixed-media figures. Participants will develop their own character(s) inspired by folklore, mythology, or family history, creating small mixed-medium figures such as dolls, puppets, or sculptures with clay-formed hands, feet, and faces. Finished pieces will be glazed, fired, and assembled for a special exhibition at the Antioch College Herndon Gallery on Friday evening, July 31st.
The workshop is structured as follows:
- Dates: July 26 – August 1, 2026
- Location: Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio 45387

EcoFarm and Food Foresting Program
Summer 2026
The Antioch College EcoFarm & Food Foresting Program fosters regenerative farming practices that restore soil health, support biodiversity, and strengthen local economies. Through weekend institutes, participants will learn sustainable solutions from a variety of ecological farming traditions that support regenerative agrarian systems and align with Antioch’s commitment to social and environmental justice. Participants will not just learn about ethical practices—they will co-create resilient, regenerative systems on our campus and in their communities. Our ultimate goal is to prepare a new generation to design climate-resilient agrarian enterprises that restore ecosystems, address food insecurity, and harmonize with Ohio’s natural cycles.
