Mad River Theater Works presents WE WERE THERE: US Women in Vietnam

WE WERE THERE showcases voices of women who served in Vietnam, to honor them and commemorate 50 years since the war’s end. A mosaic of interviews recorded in the 1980s, the stories invite the audience to hear about a turbulent time whose painful legacies continue.

We Were There is a community production directed, developed, and designed by Amy Bennett, Jane Blakelock, and Emily Schmidt, with sound design and engineering by Skip Leeds.

The cast features Dinah Anderson, Amy Bennett, Jane Blakelock, Mary Frost-Pierson, Locksley Harper (Orr), Florence Lorenz, Laura Lucas, Desirée Nickell, Margaret Silliman, and Louise Smith, with Karla Barstow as understudy.  

The production will be held in The Foundry’s Experimental Theater on November 1 @ 2 pm and November 2 @ 2 pm.  Donations will be accepted at the door.
