The BIG FAMILY BUSINESS is at it again, making performance art rooted in tradition but alive in the here and now. Led by the team of Sharon Leahy and Rick Good (www.leahygood.com) the Family is happy to be sharing two new works: a retelling of the “Ant and the Grasshopper” with master puppeteer and mask-maker, Tristan Cupp; and a percussive dive into the concept of “staying at the table” featuring Rick’s banjo music. It will also be our pleasure to share a suite of our favorite swinging tap dances.
The BIG FAMILY BUSINESS collective includes many former Rhythm in Shoes dancers and musicians, as well as extended-family collaborators from around the country.
