Essential Responsibilities of the Position:
The Events and Space Coordinator will work closely with the Community Manager, Space Coordinator, and Student Affairs to ensure the planning and execution of COVID safe campus events and spaces. The Events and Space Coordinator will maintain a calendar outlining events being hosted by RA’s, Residence Life, Counseling Services, IG leaders, and student workers.
Co-chair Space & Events committee
Attend ComCil when possible
Support the CM in facilitating event planning
Communicate with RA’s, IG leaders, and student workers about events to ensure they adhere to protocol, are advertised, and well organized
Function as support staff for North Dining Hall, Weston, Exercise rooms in Birch and North, or any pandemic-specific need for student monitors
Facilitate Community Day planning and execution”  “-Proactive communicator

Well organized
Ability to think and plan creatively
An interest in event planning
Consistency

Required Physical Abilities:
Event and Space Coordinators may occasionally be required to move furniture and execute event set up and break down
Able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Able to focus on computer tasks for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Movement within and across a historic residential campus

Environmental Considerations:
Position requires incumbent to operate in office, classroom and business space and to move about main
campus and in other locations during all seasons and weather
May walk on uneven or slippery surfaces.
