Antioch College and WYSO are pleased to have learned that the Federal Communications Commission has given its consent to the assignment of WYSO’s FM broadcast license to Miami Valley Public Media Inc., the independent, nonprofit corporation established by the College to transfer control of WYSO to the Miami Valley community. 

The assignment of the FCC license is expected to close by the end of August. At that time, there will be an announcement describing the transition process more specifically including the establishment of WYSO as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with its own governing board.
