Donations to the College in March are matched, doubling the impact of every donation up to $500,000.

Antioch College has launched its annual Million Dollar March Match campaign, which challenges donors to join in a community effort to raise one million dollars in support of its distinct educational model.

This March, donors are invited to join in celebrating the second century of its flagship Cooperative Education program (Co-op) by supporting the College with donations and by sharing Co-op stories and experiences from throughout the decades.

Co-op promotes meaningful engagement with the world through intentional linkages between campus-centered and field-based experiential learning. All current Antioch students spend up to a third of their academic program—a minimum of three academic terms—engaged in the kinds of full-time work, research, or self-directed learning enterprises that have earned Antioch Co-op students an international reputation for creativity, industriousness, and ingenuity. Students also have the opportunity for a postgraduate “launch Co-op” established as part of the new Antioch College Works program. Since reopening in 2009, Antioch students have been placed in 1,300 Co-ops in 42 countries, gaining invaluable real-world experience. Co-op provides knowledge and knowhow, which is why generations of Antiochians have had significant impacts in their communities and professions.

Antioch is in a class by itself. There is no college or university in the country that makes a more profound difference in a young person’s life, or that creates more effective adults. None of the Ivies, big or small, can match Antioch’s ability to produce outstanding thinkers and doers.

Million Dollar March Match is made possible thanks to $500,000 in matching gifts from Board of Trustees Chair Maureen Lynch and Richard Lapedes, Megan Trolander and Jim Spangler ’74, and an anonymous member of the Class of 1972.

The College is grateful for the generosity of these lead donors, and equally grateful for all those who give to the College and contribute to making an Antioch education accessible for students. Every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact. By making a gift in March, you increase the impact of your generosity.

This year, Million Dollar Match also incorporates the Chapter Challenge, a fun and lighthearted competition among nine alumni Chapters. Alums in Chapters can increase their impact by working together, and are competing not just for the most dollars raised, but also most new donors, most contributors, highest participation percentage, and most alumni directory sign ups. Learn more about the Million Dollar March Match Chapter Challenge.

Help support the second century of Co-op, and expand access to an education that works. Every donation will enable Antioch College to continue transforming lives.
