Constance Dowling Bimber ’51 passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 92.
At Antioch College, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Math and met her husband, Russell Bimber ’52.
They raised a family in Painesville, Ohio, where she volunteered for the League of Women Voters, co-founded the East Shore Unitarian Church, earned a master’s degree in education from Case Western Reserve University in 1968, taught math at Harvey High School, and volunteered for Cleveland Friends Meeting.
When she and Russ retired to Kendal at Oberlin in 2000, she served as clerk of Oberlin Friends Meeting. She is survived by her husband and her three children, Fred, Barb and Bill.
