Peter Hochstein passed away April 9, 2021. Peter was the principal for Peter Hochstein Direct Response, and worked as a creative consultant, with a long career in advertising.
He graduated from Antioch College with a BA in English literature. Peter was a reporter for the New York Post while he was still a college student, but made the transition to advertising early in his career. He was a creative vice-president at ad agencies that included Ogilvy & Mather, Doremus, Ogilvy One, and Rapp Collins.
He also taught print, broadcast, and direct response advertising at the Fashion Institute of Technology, part of the State University of New York.
