Petition to Rename Purdue Building After A. Leon Higginbotham Jr. ’49

After reading “In The Matters of Color: Race and the American Legal Process” by A. Leon Higginbotham ‘49, a group of Purdue alumni started a petition on Change.org to rename Elliot Hall – named for former president Edward C. Elliot who opposed improving the living conditions of Black student housing at Purdue University.

The 365 Project Promotes Black Culture in Yellow Springs
