Remembering Frances Horowitz ’54

Antioch College mourns the loss of Trustee Emerita Frances Degen Horowitz ’54, a great champion of progressive liberal arts education over her more than six decades in higher education. Her dedication, vision, intelligence, generosity, kindness, and extraordinary leadership brought out the best of the alumni to save and revitalize our college.

Scholarship Honors the Legacy of Frances Degen Horowitz ’54

The Frances Degen Horowitz ’54 Scholarship provides financial assistance to students with significant financial needs who are a member of an underrepresented group majoring in psychology and or social sciences. Special consideration will be given to students in their third and/or fourth year of study to assist them in completing their degrees.
