Welcome to Antioch College, where you’ll engage in experiential learning through a social justice lens. Are you ready to embark on a journey of experiential learning and social justice? At Antioch, we’re not just shaping the future; we’re redefining it. Join us and be part of something extraordinary.
First, you will join a
collaborative community.
Antioch is a special place. Your voice will directly contribute to building a better Antioch College every day. Students and faculty collaborate closely on learning. All Antiochians contribute to community governance. Through experiential learning and social justice, we find ways for everyone to belong.
Next, discover
and ask questions.
You’re empowered to ask questions. Expert faculty will help guide you with knowledge in the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences, both in the classroom and beyond so that you can put your learning in action.
Engage in real-world experiences.
Antiochians don’t just sit in a classroom learning about the world. They put ideas into action and engage Community. Your experiences will take you off campus through our Cooperative Education Program, or “Co-op.” You will accrue high-quality experience in businesses, non-profit organizations, and community projects as you find your path to meaningful work, all through the lens of social justice and building a world that works for everyone.
You will create
a self-designed major.
You get to combine, experiment, and create something unique to your interests by drawing from the many courses, experiences, and unique opportunities available at Antioch. Work with faculty advisors on how to put together your unique blend. You might consider signature focus areas that span our curriculum: Sustainability & The Environment, Culture, Power, & Change, Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Global Studies, and The Interdisciplinary Arts.
Then, become a force
for positive change.
Since the college’s founding, Antioch’s students and alumni have worked toward social and ecological justice, in their professions and in their communities. Our mission, to “win victories for humanity,” is woven through our curriculum, campus life, and alumni engagement the world over. This is the liberal arts in action.
We’re an active community.
You will get real experience.
