Temporary Building Closures

Antioch College is managing a significant facilities issue impacting several buildings including the Wellness Center and the Foundry Theater.

A critical boiler failed last weekend, leaving the Arts and Science Building (ASB), The Foundry Theater, and the Wellness Center without sufficient heat. Replacement parts have been delayed due to nationwide winter storm supply chain issues.

Here’s what this means:

The Wellness Center is CLOSED until further notice. We will announce a reopening date as soon as repairs are complete and the pool reaches a safe temperature. Memberships will be extended to account for the time we have needed to close.

The Foundry: All public events and activities are canceled or postponed until further notice due to the boiler issue and a separate geothermal leak.

We know this affects our community members and event plans. Our facilities team is making this their #1 priority. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Apply Today! We have a Rolling Admission deadline, we are currently accepting applications for Fall 2026!
