Diana Harvey ’16

I was always passionate about cooking and health but it wasn’t until my third co-op, as a Nutrition Education intern in the home office of Natural Grocers, that I realized nutrition was the missing piece of the puzzle. I graduated in 2016 with a B.S. in Biomedical Science and moved to Columbus later that year. After working at Whole Foods and cooking with Columbus Personal Chef, I joined the catering kitchen staff at the Columbus Museum of Art. I’m blessed to work with an incredible group of people in a kitchen where we make almost everything from scratch. I look forward to continuing my education this fall at Ohio State University with their Master in Dietetics and Nutrition Program. I plan on taking the Dietetics licensing exam upon completion and pursuing non-profit cooking and nutrition education.

My advice to current Antiochians: Find a good school/life balance. Keep up with your studies but experience everything Antioch has to offer. Go to the div dances, events, presentations, and so on. Walk in the Glen, look at art, sit in coffee shops, and get to know people. I moved off campus my last two years and missed out on so much because I wasn’t around. Treasure your time there because Antioch is a special place and four years goes by super quickly.
